Enjoy quality, unpretentious Indian food in the Moti Mahal, with its decor being a charming blend of German shabby-chic and Indian extravagance. At the Moti Mahal, the range of delicious food on offers means that you will find everything you would expect from a great Indian restaurant, with one of the particular strong points being the vegetarian dishes. There are around 20 different vegetarian meals on the menu, with each one served up in abundance and with friendly service.
Very good lunch specials - just give us a call and lunch can be picked up 15 minutes later. My absolute favorite dish: Palak Paneer, with a Naan Plai ... ??
The food tastes great. Ordered take away by phone. Could pick it up in 15min. The chicken tikka masala was excellent. The Garlic Naan was made from fresh garlic. Paneer Tikka Masala a highlight for me. Absolutely to suggest.
nice ❤????????
worst ever frozen food with high dose of masala...choked my brain....never ever I'll visit again.
The food is good. We used to be here very often. Wide range of dishes, friendly staff. Unfortunately, the flair is not so nice in the former apple wine industry.
A small, family-run restaurant with a wonderfully large selection of vegetarian dishes. The mustard leaves with fried soft cheese, the baked eggplants, aluminum gobhi ... :-D everything was very, very tasty!
A small, authentic, family restaurant with very tasty cuisine and friendly service. Was there for the first time today and will definitely go again!
Locally itself is ok but the staff is not friendly at all. Wouldn't miss anything because the owner is an elderly gentleman and is very arrogant. Please avoid this place because we don't come somewhere where you feel bad but where the atmosphere is very is friendly.
Food was delicious but the waitress was very rude and answered arrogantly to my questions. The gentleman looked tired of life and not interested in his work.
Hi...my experience was very very bad with their food my baby was sick and he was in hospital ...he was crying for rice and I don't want to give work to my friends so I decided to order food from this place (rice with paneer butter Masala and butter naan)their food was ......i have no words. how much my son's infection was gone down that again gone back to the same level.Never ever going try their food again. Plz think for it health once b4 ordering this place. In this food their was nothing like Indian food no taste nothing.O how they think to do this job??????
Note- my review is based off an online order. I got to experience severe unprofessionalism with this restaurant; I did not get to taste the food (may be these guys make amazing food but I wouldn't know that). I placed an order with a restaurant at around 7.45 pm with an expected delivery time within 45 minutes. I called/ they called me 5 times; each time they called me- my order kept getting delayed by 30 to 40 minutes. Just because I had placed already, I kept on waiting for approximately 2 hours, after which they refused to deliver the order. This is the biggest issue or unprofessional behavior that I noticed with them; they kept on lying for those two hours that their guy is on the way for delivery, however they easily refused me the 5th time. They conveniently kept lying for 5 to 6 calls and then later on refused. This is highly unprofessional behavior and I will make sure that I do not order from there them again. Moreover, the guy even finally refused to deliver my order I requested him to cancel the order on the application for delivery application he said that he will cancel the order from aside however did not do it for another 30 minutes. When I ordered first it was approximately 8 p.m. and the restaurant left me in such a bad position that neither did they delivered my order or I could order the food from anyone else at 22.00 hours.
Visited this restaurant in Frankfurt. Deco needs updating and menu was a bit confusing. Ordered a few dishes which were nice however one of the dishes - jeera aloo was cold but . A bit expensive as well as quality was average. Staff were very nice and friendly.
I ordered through Lieferando. At first it looked good. Delivery was fast. The Mango Lassi was good, and the rice was ok. But the chicken marsala was really bad. Chunks of chicken that didn't taste good at all, and I even found some that were not meat and couldn't really identify (lots of cartilage, tendons, etc). I won't order there again.
Thought they are good. Their special biryani needs a mention. So does the Tandoori chicken. It was delivered (through Lieferando) really warm.
We could not understand the partly bad reviews. Chicken masala outstanding, lentil soup a bit bland, lamb tikka a bit dry. But all in all not tragic and surprisingly good :)
very good indian food. seems authentic, tastes delicious. we shared several different dishes and each one was identifiable and amazing
Fast delivery, delicious, fair price!
We ordered food. Was expensive for the quality and bad. Not recommendable.
Authentic Indian food, the food tastes great. We ordered Dal Tarka (lentils in spicy curry sauce), Papadam (crispy lentil shawarma) and Raita (mint yoghurt) to take away - just a treat. In the restaurant itself it looks a bit old-fashioned, but the quality of the kitchen does not affect. We can highly recommend the motif Mahal, from us 5 stars +
Located directly on the Dreieichstraße where a lot of traffic and the tram provide noise and there is hardly any space for an outdoor area, sitting outside is not recommended. The service staff is friendly and attentive. The ambience is not convincing, the large refrigerator in front of the bar looks irritating, the rest of the dining room stale and dark. In the vestibule to the toilets (Attention Level!) Items are stored, which looks unsightly, the toilets as such are clean. The food is not a revelation, but not bad either and the portions are reasonably sized. Very delicious are the mango lassis. ?
Too bad! Ordered Achari chicken hoping to get a spicy yet flavorful Indian flavor however it was more like chunks of chicken (not tender enough) served in mixed pickle. The bread (naan and tandoori roti) didn’t taste fresh...was more like the packaged frozen naan and roti. It was really disappointing!
Very good indian dishes with a fair price. Friendly staff.
Due to intolerance, a food was chosen without declaration (spicy, spicy, etc.). We also made sure that nothing spicy is mentioned in the ingredients. Despite everything, the food was spicy. During the phone call the customer was given away with flimsy reasons and it was simply hung up. "Everything is hot in India," was his statement. This shop does not know customer-oriented work. Sad, because the menu actually sounded pretty good. The declarations of sharpness and the allergen should urgently be improved (some information for some drinks + dishes are missing). The most unfriendly restaurant we have ever ordered.
The food is just great! The service is also very friendly. The ambience is rustic but very clean.
Great Indian food. Good service. Kids friendly.
Good quality homemade food. I liked it a lot. The only bad thing that I did not like at all is that the coke is served in a large bottle and in a small glass for more than € 2. Friendly staff. Amazing Alu Paratha for starter, and terrific taandori chicken. Large amount of food.
Very homely food
The food was good, but the ambience was not so good. The service was very friendly!
Price-performance great, fast delivery and super delicious !! ?
Good selection of Indian dishes and situated in a quiet residential neghbourhood
!! Attention !! Risk of food poisoning! I was delivered a rotten 'Dal Tarka' by this restaurant. I tried to inform them via phone but their number doesn't work. Submitted an online complaint but no feedback.
Almost only very good food, 4 out of 5 dishes great. One unfortunately tasty and only satisfactory meat quality.
SHORT: Unhygienic, burned and just really bad! LANG: From the outside, the restaurant makes a somewhat run-down impression. From the inside this first impression is confirmed. Furthermore, it is quite small, and confusing. We were assigned a table between the restaurant toilet and the food distribution. Unpleasant, there was a strong smell of urine there. The cutlery was dirty. The waiter has us the starter downright with his fingers in the food served. The main course was exaggerated and extremely spicy and when asked whether there was a slightly milder version, he replied very rudely and unfriendly that Indian food was really spicy. The bread served with the main course was burned and when we pointed it out, he reached into the bread basket of the neighboring table with his hand and gave us a piece of bread with his hand and just walked away. At the next table, a woman also complained about the food. I've never met such an unfriendly and unsanitary waiter. I would not recommend anyone Moti Mahal in Frankfurt. Especially because there are very clean, delicious and much cheaper Indian restaurants in Frankfurt. The food, the service and the ambience are just really bad!
We usually order here for lunch. Since most dishes cost max. 8,50 Euro. The dishes are always hot in the office and taste great. Sometimes something varies the specified sharpness of the dishes (different cooks?) But otherwise really delicious. The protion size is sufficient for adults. ;-)
Nice little place, worth the price.
